Question

Can my white bodied Sam wear this? Is it cut short in front rather then high necked? I was planning on ordering through AGP but there won't be a point to doing that IF she can't wear it.

Funny you should ask since I was just dressing my dear old Samantha in this dress tonight. The white doesn't show on her because the dress is poofy and I can't get the collar to sit close to her. It fluffs up and hides her body pretty well. If you got the collar to behave, then yes, you would see a bit of her body. But even then, it's only a little bit. There actually isn't that much space between the neckline and the doll's neck. And with the face causing a shadow over the neck with overhead lighting anyway, it's really not noticable. In conclusion, it doesn't bother me, so I say get it!

I really like the winter party dress. It is one that looks better in person than in the catalogue or online. I think you will like it!

Does anyone have the photo for the back of the blue winter party dress? I've had the fabric bought for almost 2 years and haven't started because I don't know if it's pleated like the front or more plain or what. I've been tempted to buy the dress but then the fabric would be a waste and I hate to waste fabric.

Yes, I go around in circles on many of my AG decisions (wait! did I say I could make a decision?)

Please help before I get dizzy going around in this circle.

Thanks,
Michele

Yes, the pleating goes all the way around the skirt as well as the bodice it looks like one peice but it isn't. Also word the the wise when handling the dress it has a baseting tread to hold the pleats in place before the dress is sold. Remeber to take it out otherwise the dress looks terrable.

Thanks. I didn't notice that. I will take out the threads this weekend. I think the dress is very pretty.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Is it a two-piece dress? I was presuming that it was lined so the top pleats would pouf out but didn't consider that it was 2 separate pieces.
